As of 1 January 2011, all newly approved vehicle types are required to use the air conditioning refrigerant R1234yf, to comply with the new EEC regulations.

This new refrigerant, which has a limited impact on the environment, will progressively replace the traditional R134a TEXA's new line of A/C service stations, KONFORT series 700, has been specifically designed to carry out maintenance work on vehicle air conditioning systems that use R1234yf refrigerant, and has been developed at the highest standards in terms of safety and efficiency.

Mercedes-Benz and Opel have approved and recommended the Konfort 770S, not only because of its outstanding test results, but for several other significant reasons as well: TEXA has implemented an enhanced standard for both its automated production and quality assurance, as well as provides a network of technical support all over Europe. Approvals from other car manufacturers are soon expected.
