With IDC6, TEXA has opened its diagnostic software to the potentiality given by the use of Artificial Intelligence, so to make the diagnostic process easier and more straightforward, allowing workshops to save a significant amount of time and drastically reduce the possibility of error during repair work. This technology uses, aggregates, reprocesses, and makes more accessible the diagnostic contents and support information, providing users with diagnostic indications and paths that are statistically reliable. The exclusive use of sources certified by TEXA, continuously updated, combined with the consolidated experience in the diagnostics industry, ensures and guarantees the validity of the result.
The application of Artificial Intelligence to diagnostics actualises in two original functions: AI Global Search and AI Intelligent Diagnosis. Both make full use of TEXA’s diagnostic know-how of over 30 years, which includes an extremely wide database of stored error codes and thousands of repair solutions, defined and archived by the Call Center, to find the solution to a fault within a short time.
AI Global Search allows preemptively querying TEXA’s databases to identify any information about a specific problem on a given vehicle, reporting it in a new, much more accessible form.
AI Intelligent Diagnosis, on the other hand, guides technicians during all the diagnostic phases: from the automatic vehicle selection to the malfunction solution, through the TGS3s control unit scan, in next to no time. In fact, IDC6 optimises the fault identification and suggests effective troubleshooting solutions for technicians.

Starting from the solid base of IDC5, the software was further improved and adapted to the new needs of repair professionals, using a layout that favours an unprecedented user experience.

The launcher’s homepage displays the different environments installed and has a button for direct access to the software update function.

The menus were organised intelligently and can adapt to the user’s habits, for example by highlighting the most frequently used vehicle selections.
IDC6 uses preset shortcuts that simplify the navigation experience by quickly bringing the user to the section of interest.

What is Global Search?
Global Search is an artificial intelligence system built into the IDC6 diagnostic software by TEXA.
It is designed to help mechanics identify and solve any faults in a quicker, more accurate and intuitive way.
How does it work?
Global Search uses a search engine powered by Artificial Intelligence to understand the context of the mechanic’s requests.
Its answers are based on historical and verified technical contents by TEXA. The system can interpret any questions phrased in natural, even non-technical language.
A chat interface, similar to a virtual assistant, allows mechanics to ask questions directly and receive detailed answers.
During a diagnostic session, Global Search also analyses the detected fault codes automatically and suggests relevant solutions, without the user having to search manually. The system is designed to evolve, integrating new sources and functions in the future.
Why should I use Global Search?
This function is even more effective in choosing solutions and guarantees continuous and up-to-date support, based on real cases.
Moreover, it significantly reduces the diagnostic times and simplifies the user experience, even if you are not familiar with advanced digital tools.
How can I best use the potential of this new search system?
Use clear and direct questions, for example:

Can I still use Solved Problems?
TEXA’s technical contents – such as Solved Problems, Troubleshooting and Technical Sheets – are among the sources used by Global Search to provide accurate results, focused on the solution of the actual problem identified by the vehicle repairer.
This way, you can access them simply by specifying the fault code and describing the problem to the system.
