AGE Signs Strategic Agreement with TEXA to Strengthen ADAS Calibration Capabilities Across Its Network

Automotive Glass Experts (AGE), the largest international network of independent automotive glass specialists, has signed a strategic agreement with TEXA, for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) diagnostics and calibration systems.

When a vehicle equipped with ADAS has its windshield replaced, the sensors and cameras integrated into the glass must be calibrated. Without proper calibration, systems like lane assist or emergency braking may not function as intended, directly impacting road safety. This agreement ensures AGE members have access to the tools, training, and support required to deliver accurate, traceable calibrations in line with OEM procedures by TEXA.

ADAS calibration has become a safety measure following glass replacement” said Giorgio Pompole, AGE board member responsible for supplier relations. “TEXA’s solutions are already in use by several AGE members, particularly those offering mobile calibration services. Their equipment is trusted, reliable, and well-suited for both workshop and mobile setups. This agreement builds on that existing success and enables us to extend best practices across our network.”

TEXA introduced its ADAS calibration line in 2016 – says Roberto Rossi, TEXA Sales Director – and it immediately achieved great success worldwide. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to keep it technically up to date and make it increasingly simple and intuitive. This important agreement with AGE makes us extremely proud and confirms the exceptional reputation of our tools, all rigorously produced in Italy on state-of-the-art assembly lines.”

As ADAS-equipped vehicles become the norm, and continue to grow in the market, this agreement gives AGE members the infrastructure they need to respond, reinforcing the network’s role as a trusted partner in automotive glass services and positioning TEXA as one of AGE preferred suppliers for ADAS calibration technology.
