TEXA has reached an important collaboration agreement with COBUS Industries GmbH based on which the German manufacturer, world leader in sustainable airport mobility, will recommend all its workshops and partner workshops the use of TEXA’s AXONE Nemo and NAVIGATOR TXTs tools for the electronic diagnosis on the buses used for transporting people in the airports.
For the past 30 years, the COBUS group, with its headquarters in Wiesbaden, has been designing and distributing apron buses along with a series of after-sales and assistance services: currently there are more than 4000 COBUS brand vehicles operating in 350 airports in 100 countries.
The AXONE Nemo display tool and the NAVIGATOR TXTs vehicle interface were chosen because they guarantee technical repairers maximum practicality of use and great speed of execution in any condition, both in and outside the workshop. Among the electronic systems that TEXA developed specifically for COBUS there are: Engine Control, Vehicle/Engine Adjustment, Transmission, Instrumentation, Network System, Tachograph and others for all the models currently in use, including the ones equipped with the most recent Euro 6 engines. A large number of diagnostic functions, special programmings and adjustments is also available.
“Being chosen by an absolute world leader such as Cobus – the words of Luciano Marton, TEXA Garage Equipment and Telemobility TEXA General Manager – makes us proud and allows us to enter an industry, the airport transportation industry, unknown to us and extremely interesting. I believe that, in addition to our excellent technology, the German company judged positively TEXA’s widespread distribution, which reaches over 100 countries in the world through its branches and importers.”
