Starting from the IDC5 software version CAR 74.0.0, it is possible to proceed with the Renault gateway unlock operation safely also using the Navigator Nano S vehicle interface.
To unlock the vehicle, you must have a physical token (USB flash drive) and a software program to install on AXONE Nemo, AXONE NEMO 2 or PC with Windows 7 operating system or higher. To purchase them, simply visit the website https://asos.renault.com/#/presentation and sign up by entering your workshop’s data.
Together with the token, technicians will also receive a user ID and a password. They will be required only when performing the unlocking procedure on Renault vehicles equipped with gateway module for data protection. TEXA’s diagnosis will notify whether this system is present in the vehicle and therefore whether the operation is required.
After connecting Navigator Nano S and the token, vehicle repairers can proceed with the diagnosis simply by launching the Renault application and unlocking the gateway, which will remain open until the instrument panel is turned off.
