INFORMATION ON TOYOTA

In some cases, separate publications (supplements) may also be available, describing new characteristics or technologies introduced after the issue of the manual.

ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAMS (EWD)
Schematic representations of vehicle and component wiring systems.

Wiring repair manuals
Replacing connectors and repairing cables.

BODYWORK REPAIR MANUALS FOR ACCIDENT DAMAGED VEHICLES (BRM)
Dimensioned drawings and repair procedures for damaged vehicle bodywork. .

TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETTINS (TSB)
Further information for maintenance and repairs that might not be included in the service manual or supplements to it. Also see the campaign and recall bulletins.

Maintenance schedules
Maintenance schedules contain the Toyota/Lexus maintenance and repair requirements valid for the whole of Europe. They establish what parts to inspect or replace at specific time or mileage intervals. (Bear in mind that maintenance schedules are generally valid for all of Europe but that specific operating conditions such as bad weather or difficult driving conditions may require suitable variations.) For more detailed information on the maintenance schedules valid in your own country, contact the official Toyota importer. The general information section of this website contains links to the various national Toyota and Lexus websites.

Spare parts catalogue
This catalogue provides the part codes for original Toyota spare parts. Catalogue part codes are provided exclusively for consultation purposes. This website does not allow you to order spare parts.

Labour cost manuals (FRM)
These manuals provide information on the times required to complete repair jobs. They are designed and used mainly to calculate the costs of repairs under warranty. Data is only indicative and should not be used to prepare quotes for repair times or costs in independent garages, as working conditions in such garages will certainly differ from the conditions in which repairs are conducted under warranty.

Special tools (SST)
SST special tools are the Toyota special tools needed to perform various repairs. Unlike standard commercially available tools, special tools are designed for specific tasks and can only be used on Toyota vehicles. Their use may also require special knowledge or training. These tools can be ordered through the official network of authorised Toyota service centres.

IT2 diagnostic tool
The IT2 diagnostic tool speeds up many diagnostic operations. As with special tools, it can be ordered through the official network of authorised Toyota service centres. Regular updates for this tool's operating software are available from this website for annual subscriptions.

TEXA PASS-THRU: Info and details by manufacturer

TEXA VCI tools can be used in PASS-THRU mode on all makes that have certified their use. The end user must verify that his TEXA VCI is among those certified for use on the website of the relevant manufacturer. TEXA VCI tools can also be used in PASS-THRU mode on vehicle makes for which no specific homologation is required, with the provisions given below. This information can also be obtained by consulting the website of the relevant manufacturer. When there is no homologation procedure for certifying the complete compatibility of the manufacturer's diagnostic system with a TEXA VCI used in Pass-Thru mode, TEXA S.p.A. does not guarantee that the VCI will function correctly and cannot therefore be held responsible for partial or complete malfunctioning of the functions concerned. In PASS-THRU mode, TEXA VCI tools cannot be used to solve faults associated with special features of vehicle manufacturers' proprietary diagnostic systems not conforming to standard J2534-1/2. The end user must be aware of this and must accept full responsibility for any problems on a vehicle or in electronic devices on which he performs diagnostic and/or programming operations with a TEXA VCI. TEXA S.p.A. cannot be held responsible for problems, direct or indirect damage, costs or malfunctions in the vehicle or parts of the vehicle, appearing after or as a result of using a TEXA VCI in PASS-THRU mode.
